classic melbourne

perchance I passed by the classic bicycle shop in st kilda. I'd known of the shop, and that it has been around for quite a few years. if the shop was open on a monday, I would have liked to have been able to ask the owner if they were primarily responsible for so many classic avon bicycles gracing the streets of Melbourne... (i.e. is business better than ever at the moment?) i think though they're right to be discerning on which avon's they import - avon got some pretty futuristic bicycles in their catalogue that i'm not so sure melbourne is ready for.

all the best to them at the classic if you ask me...

  1. what do the futuristic bicycles look like?

are the above bicycles to be used while wearing vintage clothing? (smoking a pipe, top hat, no helmet, moustache)
